Located in Coteau-du-Lac, our family-friendly club has been in existence since 1972 and is known for the quality of its course and its friendly atmosphere. Join a passionate team that is committed to serving golfers and ensuring that the game runs smoothly.
Your daily tasks:
Greet players with courtesy and professionalism.
Manage tee times to ensure the schedule is followed and delays are avoided.
Ensure smooth traffic on the course by monitoring the pace of play.
Offer assistance to players as needed (rules, directions, safety).
Ensure compliance with club rules and proper course maintenance
Communicate effectively with the team to quickly resolve any unforeseen issues<\/p>

The ideal profile for success:
Good knowledge of golf and its rules
Positive attitude and natural interpersonal skills
Organizational skills and autonomy
Comfortable with computerized tools (reservation system)
Bilingualism (French\/English) is a significant asset
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays<\/p>

The Club de golf Rivi\u00e8re Rouge is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Shop clerk \/ Starter \/ Marshall.<\/b><\/p>\n

Your responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n

  • Warmly welcome club members and guests.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Answer customers’ questions about the store’s products and services.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Advise customers on the choice of golf equipment according to their needs.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Carry out transactions, manage the cash register and issue receipts.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Keep the store stocked with golf products and maintain an attractive display.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Use the computer to manage reservations, departures and inventory tracking.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • As a starter, organize the golfers’ tee-offs to ensure smooth play on the course.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • As marshal, circulate on the course to ensure compliance with the rules, manage the pace of play and offer assistance to players if necessary.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Keep store and common areas clean and tidy.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/h3>
        • Operational planning and coordination<\/b>: Plan, organize, and oversee the daily activities of all departments, including the pro shop, restaurant, golf academy, and customer service.<\/span><\/li>
        • Budgetary and financial management<\/b>: Work within the approved budget, generate revenue, monitor cash flow and payments, and provide regular financial reports.<\/span><\/li>
        • Team supervision and engagement<\/b>: Recruit, hire, train, and manage seasonal staff while fostering a collaborative environment. Schedule shifts and encourage teamwork.<\/span><\/li>
        • Administrative management<\/b>: Handle material orders, ensure bank deposits, and comply with all applicable legal regulations.<\/span><\/li>
        • Event organization<\/b>: Oversee tournaments, golf packages, and corporate events, customizing client experiences to ensure exceptional customer service.<\/span><\/li>
        • Social media presence and promotions<\/b>: Collaborate with an external agency to manage promotional communications, enhance the club\u2019s visibility on social media, and promote its reputation.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
